Analytica 6.4 Release Notes/Changes in 6.4.6.241

This page lists all changes in build 6.4.6.241 that have occurred since the previous beta build 6.4.3.237.

There were also a number of builds which we did not post for beta testing.

Engine

• Set identifier from title to ignore parameters. In 6.3 and earlier, a title like h(t) was turned into the identifier h, ignoring the parentheses. Initially in 6.4 build, it turned into h_t_. The behavior was reverted to the earlier.

Function (Built in)

• Fixed a bug where the SysFunction FileSystemListing was case sensitive - and should not have been.
• Fixed a crashing bug in a specific Keelin distribution function.
• Fixed a bug with ReadFromURL failing on the first call.
• ReadBinaryFile and GetFromBinaryData now also return the offset where the read left off as a 3rd and 2nd return value respectively.

General

• Edited some links in the installer and from Analytica's Dialogs to the Analytica.com site and Analytica docs site.
• Cleaned up the links to the analytica docs site, getting rid of redirects.

GUI-dialogs

• The Slider style defaults sysvar was showing in the index selector dialog for a table. It was removed.

Installer

• Set the Installer's previous releases pane to check the boxes for removing old releases of Analytica by default.
• Redesigned the Installer's user information dialog for Analytica Free users.

Maintenance Recovery

• Fixed a bug found when you resize an image and then Analytica is abnormally terminated without saving. The crash recovery was not recovering the change to the image size.

Tables

• Fixed a bug with labels on tall choice controls in a table not appearing.
