Patch release 4.3.2 provides bug fixes for 4.3.1. It does not include any new enhancements. Model compatibility is not impacted.

Memory Leaks

The main reason for the patch release was to fix a memory leak that was discovered. In some models, this leak was substantial, hence, we feel it is important for 4.3.1 users to install the 4.3.2 patch.

We also detected a GDI leak. Theoretically, this leak would eventually cause user-interface glitches to start appearing if you were to use Analytica for an extremely long period of time without restarting (many hours minimum). We're not sure if this one has impacted anyone yet.

Performance Profiling

When DefineOptimization( ) evaluates the linear constraint coefficients, the time spent analyzing constraint nodes was being tallied in the time taken to evaluate [[DefineOptimization]. This has been changed, so that it is tallied with the constraint node.
