Type: Library, Installed

Provides some elementary optimization functions:

These are simple implementations of Newton-Raphson techniques, which you can use to solve for a single value or for a vector of values in a non-linear model. They work in any edition of Analytica, without Analytica Optimizer. However, they are based on a rudimentary gradient-descent algorithm and are not nearly as powerful or robust as the Frontline solver functions in Analytica Optimizer.

It is installed with Analytica in the Libraries folder. To use it, select Add Library... from the File menu.
