Beta Testing Licenses
The beta software requires a beta-tester license to use. Three types of licenses are available:
- Individual license: Requires an activation key when you install the software. License is specific to a particular user, and is installed directly to your computer, so no license server software is required. It is recommended to run the installer from the end-user account (rather than from an admin account). The activation key must be entered from the end-user account rather than from a separate admin account.
- Named User Licenses: These are individual-user licenses, but they are managed from an RLM license manager server, rather than being installed directly by the end-users. Requires the installation of an RLM license manager on a computer within your intranetwork. End-users run the installer, but don't need an activation key -- they just have to know the name of the computer hosting RLM. Allows IT staff to manage, track, and re-assign licenses.
- Floating license: Requires the RLM license manager to be installed somewhere on your network, and the license is installed to the RLM license manager. End-users of Analytica run the installer, but don't need an activation key -- they just need to know the name of the computer that is running the RLM license manager.
