Analytica is a MS Windows based software application for building and analyzing quantitative decision models.
Its interface is mostly graphical, which makes it an intuitive alternative for spreadsheet-based data analysis programs, such as Excel.
At the same time, it is integrated with a comprehensive library of logical, arithmetical and statistical functions, which makes it suitable for advanced financial and quantitative modeling.
Analytica is developed by the California-based Lumina Decision Systems. The first version of Analytica was released in January 1992, the most recent version (version 4.6) is from May 2015.
The software is available in both free and paid editions.
