Setting up Visual Studio for Azure Development

Note: This guide is currently only for Lumina developers.

Download Visual Studio

Navigate to https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/downloads/ and under Community select "Free download" to get the latest version of Visual Studios.

Running the Installer

Launch the downloaded .exe file (VisualStudioSetup.exe) and continue along until you get to the installation details page that has optional development tools etc. Once here fill the checkbox for Azure development and (perhaps optionallu) be sure to click all checkboxes on the right so everything related to Azure development is installed. When you're done you can continue by clicking "Install: in the bottom right.
