Potential QA Projects

This page is where I am going to laundry list a bunch of potential QA Projects. Mostly, I am envisioning Renee working on these tasks. All these tasks should be accompanied with ad hoc testing to uncover bugs. By 'ad hoc' testing, I just mean fiddling around with Analytica while working on whatever task you doing. For example, evaluating nodes, copy/pasting nodes or results, negative testing etc.

Combing Bug Base (i.e. EW)
- Identifying bugs that are marked with status 'open', but have actually been fixed. Most thorough approach would involve reproducing the bugs in the release they were found, then checking to see if they are fixed in the latest build. Then work with me (Fred), so I can confirm and close them in EW.
  - There are a few ways to take on this task. Work with Fred to come up with queries in EW based on Area of Bug, Priority, Severity etc.

Test Scripts
- This is a never ending task. Coming up with more and more test scripts. Some inspiration might include:
  - Test scripts based on Analytica's Menu's (we have some, but they can always be expanded).
  - Test scripts based on Analytica Dialogs (Preferences, node style, memory in use, graph setup...)
  - Test scripts based on Analytica's documentation. I.E. Ones that follow along with the Tutorial, UG, Optimizer Guide.
  - AnaWiki inspired scripts
  - EW Based Test Scripts. That is go thru EW and identifier some bugs or ERs that could be turned into a test script.
  - Printing test script. Print out a bunch of result graphs and tables. Print object window. Print diagrams. Print report. Print outline.

Note to self:Add test case ER 5865 to an existing test script ASAP.

Note to self:Create test script for ER 7426 ask Fred how to go about this ASAP.

Note to self:Create test script that test large edit/result table for ER 5668 ASAP.

Note to self:Add this into regression test EW 5288 ASAP. Same as 4741, 4401, and 975.

Note to Fred I am putting this here just in case I fail to email you about it. I have added all of these test scripts long ago in my existing Definition test script, exept for one: EW 5228 which I have only added now. However, I am not sure if Analytica is returning what is expected.
