Richard, I'm assuming you will make the final decisions on these items. As we discussed, the plan is to have all graphics in color, which will show up in the PDF versions, even if we won't be printing in color.

For the 4.0 additions to User Guide (but not Tutorial), Optimizer Guide and maybe ADE docs, I'm expecting we will be adding screenshots to the Wiki version of the docs. I've done this to test a few. (Mediawiki's tools for uploading and inserting images are primitive and timeconsuming. Sigh.)

Ideally, you can come up with guidelines for taking these screenshots (using Snagit) so that each of us that make these screenshots, inc. at least Rene, you, and me, can do so in such a way that the same images will work for PDF and printed docs without having to be recreated. I realize that this means that we need guidelines that work (and are tested) for each of our various computers and screens, assuming that those things actually make a difference. But, it'll save a lot of work reshooting them all (which wd also require recording all details necessary to regenerate them).

You can easily set Snagit to output image files in preferred formats, etc. If necessary, you can use Snagit for basic editing, inc resizing, which I do quite a bit. But, I'd like to know what settings weshd use, starting with what format we shd standardize on, png, jpeg, or what.
