Email From Max
Fred, the task I had in mind for Rene is to redo all the screenshots from the Tutorial, and possibly some or all from User Guide, the latter to be determined. I am cc'ing this to Richard, who has agreed to be the documentation czar. He may have additional suggestions.

She will need Snagit. Not necessarily MS Word, since she should save the images as separate files in a directory. The Tutorial (and User Guide) are in Framemaker, which keeps all the images in separate folders, linked by name but not directly embedded in the Frame file. She will not necessarily need Framemaker, unless Richard things that would be helpful for viewing and checking.

First cut:
- Work thru the tutorial, following each step, to make sure the screenshots reflect exactly what a user will see.
- For each screenshot in current Tutorial, arrange model to look similar, and window size to be identical.
- Use Snagit to copy screenshot, and save it into designated folder as
.png(?) or Richard, is there a preferred format?
- Ideally use the same name as current screenshot, so Framemaker will get them without needing to redo the links from Frame file. Richard, do you have suggestion on how to do this? Perhaps, we should give Rene the current folder of Tutorial images, so she can see their names, and make sure to redo

Yes. Therefore all of them.

I suggest all be in color. We will be printing still in B&W, but it would be nice to have the PDF in color.

This is up to RM. He may want to review the Tutorial first to see if there is need for any changes. But, if the images will be essentially the same, she could do it (mostly) in parallel with any edits.
I will leave it to Richard to take this conversation from here.
Thanks Max.
