Conglomeration function

Conglomeration function is another name for an aggregation function, such as Aggregate, that is used to convert an array that is indexed by some fine-grained index, to an array that is indexed by a coarser-grained index, e.g. to convert an array indexed by days to an array indexed by months or years.
