Automatic Beta Licensing Error
Analytica Automatic Beta Licensing feature in Analytica 4.3 automatically fetches an Analytica 4.3 Beta license from the Lumina license server if you have a valid Analytica 4.2 license with active support. This page explains the errors and messages from the Analytica Automatic Beta Licensing feature.
Communication Error
Error Message
Your Analytica beta license could not be renewed because an error occurred while communicating with the Lumina server. This may be because your machine is not connected to the internet. Please call us at (+1)650-212-1212, or email us at support@lumina.com if you need a beta license. Thank you, The Lumina Team.
Description
This error message is shown when Analytica cannot successfully communicate with the Lumina license server to fetch or renew your Analytica 4.3 Beta license. Your computer may not be connected to the internet or connected to the internet through a proxy server that restricts Analytica from connecting to the Lumina license server.
Solution
Please write to support@lumina.com to request an Analytica 4.3 Beta License. We will then send you an Analytica 4.3 Beta Activation Key and instructions on installing the license.
New Beta Build
Message
A new Analytica 4.3 beta build has been downloaded. Please click Yes to quit Analytica and install the downloaded beta release. The installation should only take a few minutes. Choose No to install the downloaded beta release later. Cheers, The Lumina Team.

Solution
Click Yes to install the new downloaded beta build. This will automatically close Analytica and run the downloaded installer. The installation should not take more than a few minutes.
Click No to install the new downloaded build later, and continue to load Analytica.
Could not log into Lumina database
Message
Your Analytica 4.3 beta license could not be renewed because Analytica was not able to log into the Lumina database. This is probably a temporary issue. You will still be able to use Analytica beta license until it expires, and Analytica should automatically renew your license next time you run Analytica. Description
The Lumina database has probably gone down, so the Analytica installer was not able to communicate successfully with the database.
Solution
This is a temporary issue. Analytica should be able to fetch a beta license next time it communicates with the license server.
License not found in Lumina database

Your Analytica 4.2 license was not found in the Lumina database, so your support status could not be verified. Only users with valid licenses and active support are eligible for free Analytica 4.3 Beta licenses.
If you are using trial or temporary licenses, you may encounter this error.
