Analytica Release Notes/Changes in Patch Build 4.5.2
The 4.5.2 patch fixes a few bugs that were identified after the 4.5.1 release. One fix is critical for users of the ESVT model who use Analytica Power Player. If this is you, you need to be using 4.5.2 rather than 4.5.1. If this isn't you and you are using 4.5.1, then installing 4.5.2 isn't critical, but is so quick that there isn't much reason not to do it. It is much easier than trying to figure out what is happening if you do hit one of the bugs.
Installing the patch
If you have 4.5.1 installed already, installing the patch should take under a minute. The license information is already there, you won't have to re-enter anything -- as the installer runs, the entries will be filled in, so you can just accept the defaults.
Most users will receive a notification that the patch is ready to be installed, and will just press the [Yes] button launch the installer.
If you don't receive that notification (probably due to a firewall) or cleared it without installing, then download the latest installer from the Downloads page and run it.
Fixes
- A SubTable could not be edited from Power Player, despite the fact that it has an input node.
- Index row labels were not appearing for some SubTables.
- The installer did not give an option to automatically uninstall Analytica 4.4 while installing 4.5. (Note that you can deselect this if you want both).
- There was some incorrect text when an Optimizer Trial key is entered, which indicated the license was just for a Trial edition, rather than an optimizer trial.
- The Factorial function was producing incorrect results for 14! thru 20!.
