If you are manually activating an older release of Analytica, prior to Analytica 4.6, you will need to follow these instructions:
- Fill out the Manual Activation form on the [Lumina.com Lumina.com website] under Support / Manual Activation. See the instructions on the bottom of that page.
- When you submit, an email will be sent to you with a *.lic attachment.
- Note: Because you are using an outdated release of Analytica, the instructions in the email do not pertain to you.
- Save the attachment to your Analytica installation directory.
- For most people, your installation directory is, e.g.,
C:\Program Files\Lumina\Analytica 4.5 - You will probably need administrator right to save the file in Program Files. Also, you will probably not be allowed to save the attachment directly to Program Files, so you'll need to save it somewhere and then as Administrator, move it to the installation directory.
- For most people, your installation directory is, e.g.,
- Start Analytica
- If the License Information Dialog does not appear, select Update License... from the Help menu.
- Click the dropdown arrow on the License ID field and select your license. If you've copied it to the installation directory correctly, it will be listed.
- Restart Analytica.
