Revision as of 03:07, 13 October 2015 by Karenlee (talk | contribs)

The Analytica has not only gotten a brand new look, but editing the Wiki is now easier than ever! This page documents new Wiki features.

General

  • New layout
  • Improved Speed
  • Sphinx search: The Wiki now uses the Sphinx search engine.
  • Comments: Users can now make comments on each page.

Editing the Wiki

  • Visual Editor: Now when you click on Edit under This page in the navigation bar (or next to each section name when you are logged in) you are taken to the Wysiwyg editor, which makes editing much easier. Note that the Visual Editor cannot handle custom markup.
  • Wiki Editor: The built-in Wiki editor, which you can access by selecting Edit Source is now updated. In particular there is a new Preview tab so users can see edits without having the refresh the page.
    • MsUpload: The MsUpload extension has been installed and can be used from the Wiki Editor, allowing users to drag and drop multiple images straight into the Wiki.
    • Math: The Math extension has been installed and can be used from the Wiki Editor.
  • Translate: The translate extension has been installed, allowing pages to be translated into any language.
  • Custom Tags: A couple custom tags have been created to make specific formatting easy to input.
