Free Analytica 4.2 Upgrade

This page provides instructions for how to obtain and install your free upgrade to Analytica 4.2 or ADE 4.2.

Eligibility

Users of Analytica (including ADE)with current support are eligible for a free upgrade to release 4.2 (support entitles you free upgrades to minor-version releases, such as 4.1 to 4.2.)

You have current support if you purchased Analytica or renewed your support in the last 12 months. If not, may purchase a renewal for your support retroactively, paying from the time it expired, until 12 months ahead [https://lumina.com/ana/support.htm Renew Active Support. You are then eligible for a free upgrade.

Instructions

To get your free upgrade, if your support is active simply Start Here.

After trading-in your current 4.0 or 4.1 license, and proceeding through the checkout, an activation key and download/install instructions will be emailed to you. The purchase total will automatically register as $0. After you receive your activation key, you'll follow the instructions -- downloading the installer, running it, and activating your license by entering your activation key.

If you are interested in non-free edition upgrades -- for example to a floating license or an 64-bit edition -- the best time to do it is while you are at the Shopping Cart page. Trade-in your 4.0 or 4.1 license(s) as above, then populate the cart with the edition(s) you want. Remember to remove the free upgrade edition so that you receive a trade-in credit towards the price of your new editions. Note the special promotion on 64-bit editions -- there is a $500 discount on upgrades to 64-bit editions before Nov 6^th, 2009.

If your active support is not current

In this case, you have two options:

• Pay full price for Analytica 4.2.
• Retroactively purchase active support from the date it lapsed through the present.

In almost all cases, the retroactive purchase of active support will prove to be the most cost-effective option. To do this, start at Purchase Support. Renew the support and provide payment information. Once you receive confirmation that your transaction has been processed (within 1 business day), then you can follow the instructions above.
